Café-style dominoes: the double six opens, match an end of the line, and empty your hand first. Four players play as partners.

How to play

Empty your hand first each round. First to reach the target score wins

1. Everyone gets 7 tiles; the rest stay in the boneyard (with four players there's no boneyard)
2. The highest double opens the first round with any tile. After that, the previous round's winner opens with any tile
3. On your turn, play a tile that matches either open end
4. Can't play? Start at either highlighted end. The first draw locks that end for everyone for the round: draw consecutive tiles until one fits. When none remain, pass
5. The first to empty their hand scores the pips left in everyone else's hands

• Partners: with four players and the partners setting on, players sitting across from each other are a team. When one goes out, both score the pips in the other team's hands
• If the game locks and everyone passes, the lightest hand (or team) wins the round; a tie scores nothing
• The match ends when someone reaches the target or after 12 rounds
• If your turn timer runs out, the game plays for you, and your next turns get shorter until you're back
